Enterprise Telecommunication Solution for the Malaysian Prime Minister

Jebsen & Jessen Communications in Malaysia recently completed a four months project and successfully installed the Avaya Communication Manager for the Prime Minister Office (PMO) in Malaysia.
The PMO is located at the Putrajaya, the federal administrative centre of Malaysia, and comprises of two building complexes. It was limited to basic telephony and therefore lacked the ability to provide professional public service. The PMO was looking for a state-of-the-art telecommunication system with enhanced, value adding features and a life-span of 10 years. An important criterion was the system’s capability to expand into the unified communication environment and to support service and helpdesk implementation.
Together with their partner, Telekom Malaysia, Jebsen & Jessen Communications installed 3,000 endpoints, out of which 20 per cent are IP endpoints, in nine building blocks. A total of 16 operators are located throughout the complex to answer calls for their respective blocks.
